The test papers will be in English. Each GATE 2025 paper is worth a total of 100 points. The General Aptitude (GA) section is common to all papers (15 marks), and the remainder of the paper covers the corresponding test paper syllabus (85 marks).

Candidates must be familiar with the paper code because it is necessary for both the application and the examination.

Each candidate should submit only one application. If they want to appear in a second paper (from the two-paper combination), they can include that paper in their original application. In the event of duplicate applications, only one will be approved, and the remaining applications will be denied with no refund for the paid cost.
